David Hamilton Koch (born May 3, 1940) is an American businessman, philanthropist, political activist, and chemical engineer. He is the co-owner(with the older brother charles) and vice president of koch industries. He is currently live in Newyork and second richest person of Newyork as of 2010.

Early life and education

koch was born in Kansas to Mary and Fred koch, a chemical engineer. His paternal grandfather, Harry Koch, was a Dutch immigrant who founded the Quanah Tribune-Chief newspaper and was a founding shareholder of Quanah, Acme and Pacific Railway. He attended the Deerfield Academy prep school in Massachusetts, graduating in 1959. He went on to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), earning both a bachelor's (1962) and a master's degree (1963) in chemical engineering.Koch played basketball at MIT, averaging 21 points per game at MIT over three years, a school record. He also held the single-game scoring record of 41 points from 1962 until 2009 when it was eclipsed by Jimmy Bartolotta. In 1970, Koch joined Koch Industries. Nine years later, he would become the president of Koch Engineering.

EARLY LIFE- How educated are Larry Ellison

Larry Ellison was born in New York City to an unwed mother of Jewish heritage his father was an Italian American U.S. Air Force pilot. After he contracted pneumonia at the age of nine months his mother gave him to her aunt and uncle for adoption.Ellison did not meet his biological mother again until he was 48. Ellison graduated from Eugene Field Elementary School in Chicago in January 1958 and attended Sullivan High School at least through the fall of 1959 before moving to South Shore. Ellison attended the University of Chicago for one term, where he first encountered computer design. In 1966, aged 22, he moved to northern California.

CAREER

Ellison worked for Ampex Corporation. One of his projects was a database for the CIA, which he named "Oracle". Ellison was inspired by the paper written by Edgar F. Codd on relational database systems called "A Relational Model of Data for Large Shared Data Banks". In 1977, he founded Software Development Laboratories (SDL) with two partners and an investment of $2,000; $1,200 of the money came from Ellison.Around this time, Oracle fell behind Sybase. In 1990–1993, Sybase was the fastest growing database company and the database industry's darling vendor, but soon fell victim to its merger mania. Sybase's 1996 merger with Powersoft resulted in a loss of focus on its core database technology. n 2013, according to a French magazine, he earned $94.6 million.

Ellison has been married and divorced four times.

His first wife was Adda Quin from 1967 to 1974.

His second wife was Nancy Wheeler Jenkins from 1977 to 1978.

His third wife was Barbara Boothe from 1983 to 1986. Couple have two children David and Megan.

His fourth wife was Melanie Craft from december 2003 to 2010. She is American romance novelist.

Ellison also appears in movie IRON MAN 2.

Warren Buffett born on august 30, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska, the second of three children and only son of U.S. Representative Howard Buffett. He is the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and ranked among the world's richest person.Buffett is called the "Wizard of Omaha", "Oracle of Omaha. In 1962, Buffett became a millionaire because of his partnerships, which in January 1962 had an excess of $7,178,500, of which over $1,025,000 belonged to Buffett. Buffett merged all partnerships into one partnership. Buffett invested in and eventually took control of a textile manufacturing firm, Berkshire Hathaway.Buffett married Susan Buffett in 1952. They had three children, Susie, Howard and Peter. Buffett demonstrated a knack for financial and business matters early on in his childhood. Friends and acquaintances have said the young boy was a mathematical prodigy, and was able to add large columns of numbers in his head-a talent he still occasionally shows off to friends and business associates.

Warren often visited his father's stockbrokerage shop as a child, and chalked in the stock prices on the blackboard in the office. At 11 years old he made his first investment; he bought three shares of Cities Service Preferred at $38 per share.

In February 2013, Buffett purchased HJ Heinz with private equity group 3G Capital for $28 billion. 3G, a U.S.-Brazilian company, also owns Burger King and a portion of Anheuser-Busch InBev. According to TIME magazine, Buffett has praised Heinz for making "great-tasting products" and for good management over the past several years. As of early 2013, Buffett was rated No. 15 on Forbes magazine's "World's Most Powerful People" list. His Net worth is $53.5 Billion which make him world richest person.
